Job Summary
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee daily accounting operations and ensure accurate financial records
- Manage month-end quarter-end and year-end financial close processes
- Prepare and submit CBN and other regulatory returns within approved timelines
- Produce management and statutory financial reports for EXCO and the Board
- Coordinate internal and external audits and resolve audit issues promptly
- Ensure compliance with IFRS CBN guidelines and prudential requirements
- Reconcile core banking systems general ledger and regulatory reports
- Drive finance process improvements and reporting efficiency
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Education:Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related discipline
- Professional qualification (ACA ACCA CIA CISA or equivalent) mandatory
- Experience: 712 years experience in accounting and financial reporting within a regulated financial institution preferably a microfinance bank
