Your Responsibilities
Sourcing and Supplier Management
- You will identify and evaluate suppliers and vendors to ensure the organisation works with reliable high-quality partners.
- You will build and maintain strong supplier relationships that support consistent and timely delivery of materials and services.
- You will manage subcontractor sourcing and selection ensuring value for money and quality of service.
Negotiation and Contracting
- You will negotiate pricing and supply contracts to achieve the best possible terms for the organisation.
- You will ensure all procurement contracts are clearly documented and compliant with internal policies.
Operations and Cost Control
- You will ensure the timely delivery of materials to project sites preventing delays and disruptions to construction activities.
- You will monitor and control procurement costs identifying opportunities for savings without compromising quality.
What Success looks like
- Materials and equipment are delivered to project sites on time and within budget with minimal procurement-related delays.
- Supplier and vendor relationships are strong reliable and consistently delivering value.
- Procurement costs are effectively managed with measurable savings achieved through strategic sourcing and negotiation.
- All procurement processes are transparent well-documented and fully compliant with internal controls.
- Subcontractor selection and management is consistent fair and aligned with project quality standards.
To be considered for this role you should have
- A Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 to 8 years of procurement experience within a top construction company.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials equipment and subcontractor management.
- Proven negotiation and contract management skills.
- Excellent organisational analytical and supplier relationship management skills.
