The Hotels of Grande Bretagne and King George are two of the most historic hotels of Athens international renown for services and attention to our customer experience. The Hotel Grande Bretagne and King George are members of the Luxury Collection brand of Marriott International Inc with more than 650 Associates. The Hotels have a total of 422 rooms and suites exquisite banqueting facilities famous outlets the famous Alexanders Bar and the rejuvenating GB Spa.

Our Hotels team seeks to fill the position of:

Multi Property Facilities Manager

Will be reporting to the Multi Property Technical Director.

Scope of Role:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Facilities Manager to support our operations with the supervision and delegation of maintenance programs for the entire multi property facilities including physical building structures all mechanical electrical HVAC plumbing and water management including the negotiating of external contractors for new and existing projects related to Brand ESG or Safety projects. Furthermore the Facilities Manager will be responsible for all key projects relating to Hotel renovations and enhancements for sustainability of our buildings. Moreover they will be directly involved with ensuring compliance with all local and EU laws for building safety and will be responsible for the creation and facilitation of Health & Safety programs for Associate Learning with overview from their Director (as needed)

The successful candidate will also play an important role in our Customer Experience Management Brand programs operational Standards and ESG vision and propose improvement for our ISO 14000 and 15000 certifications.

Successful candidate must :

  • Hold a Bachelors degree in a related Engineering field (an MSc would be considered an Asset).
  • Be a registered member of the Greek Technical Chamber of Commerce (T.E.E)
  • Have 5 to 7 years in a similar role in Hospitality or related sector with proven experience in large capital projects
  • Have native Greek and proficient English skills
