We are seeking an experienced and driven Solar Sales Manager to lead and grow our solar energy sales division. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing sales strategies managing the sales team driving revenue growth and expanding our presence in the renewable energy market.
Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies for solar PV and energy solutions
- Lead mentor and manage a team of solar sales engineers/consultants
- Set sales targets monitor performance and drive team accountability
- Identify new market opportunities and strategic partnerships
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders
- Support the sales team with technical input proposals and deal closing
- Collaborate with engineering operations and finance teams to ensure successful project delivery
- Prepare sales forecasts reports and market analysis for management
Minimum Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering Renewable Energy Business or a related field
- Proven experience in solar or renewable energy sales with experience in a management role
- Strong understanding of solar PV systems inverters batteries and energy storage solutions
- Demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Excellent leadership communication and negotiation skills
- Valid drivers licence
