A reputable civil and building construction company based in East London is seeking to appoint a highly experienced Construction Manager to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional with extensive experience in large-scale building projects and civil engineering works who is open to working outside of South Africa on cross-border projects in Lesotho Eswatini Botswana and other locations as required

Duties & Responsibilities

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:

National Diploma / Degree in Building Construction Management Civil Engineering or related field (preferred but not essential with strong experience).
Proven experience as a Construction Manager within the civil and building construction industry
Fluency in English with working knowledge of Afrikaans and at least one South African native language
Valid Code 1014 drivers license
Valid passport and willingness to travel and work outside South Africa
Proficiency in MS Office and MS Project
Strong project planning budgeting and cost control experience
Excellent leadership and communication skills

The successful applicant would be responsible for but not limited to:

Oversee and manage full project lifecycle from inception to completion
Ensure projects are delivered on time within budget and to required quality standards
Coordinate subcontractors consultants and site teams
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and contractual obligations
Report to senior management on progress risks and financial performance

Salary: Market related dependent on experience and qualifications
