Description: | | | | - Coordinate the maintenance of inventory logs and files.
- Perform corrections in SAP as required.
- Ensure material supplies and equipment are requisitioned in accordance with approved property control procedures.
- Establish and maintain appropriate inventory control records and files.
- Establish and maintain warehouse location records.
- Conduct inventory control data entry.
- Perform technical research of inventory discrepancies and take corrective action as required. Initiate inventory control correspondence and related reports.
- Maintain inventories and records.
- Initiate disposal and turn-in actions and delivery of parts to DRMO site.
- Conduct receipt/DTO processing.
- Coordinate the disposal of obsolete records and files.
- Conduct required inventories.
- Perform inventory control audits and initiate adjustments as necessary.
- Provide any inventory control data requested by the government in a timely manner.
- Ensure security of supply branch spaces and related proprietary documents.
- Maintain cleanliness of the work center and your assigned work area.
- When qualified may be required to operate a forklift or other GSE.
- Receive inspect store distribute issue material as required.
- Perform packaging and shipping functions.
- Comply with DOT Hazardous Material Transportation Procedures.
- Operate forklift.
- Issue parts and materials to work centers.
- Deliver materials to NAS Whiting Field.
- Make off-site pick-ups and deliveries to component repair facilities.
- Pick up Mail from Mail Room.
- Deliver NRFI material & documentation to repairable/ consumable coordinators.
- Expedite urgent requirements.
- Perform perpetual and other related inventories as required.
- Perform warehouse location audits as required.
- Ensure security of supply branch spaces and related proprietary documents.
- Must comply with established General and Industrial Safety Rules and Regulations as applicable to the contract facilities and job assignment.
- Responsible for adhering to all applicable Foreign Object Damage (FOD) prevention rules and regulations.
- Compile data and initiate timely submission of required reports.
- Document work accomplished on government and company electronic and/or manual Information Systems.
- Pursuant to the specific provisions of the CBA at the discretion of management may be requested to perform the duties of Lead.
- Assist in ensuring the safety security inventory and preservation of Government owned and Company owned equipment.
- Perform other related duties within the job classification.

Working Environment |
The diversity of work conditions may range from an environment where there is little or no physical discomfort to an environment where inclement weather may subject individual to severe changes of temperature wind rain etc. May be required to work in areas where high noise hazards prevail. May be exposed to fumes or airborne particles. May be exposed to electrical shock hazards. |
Physical Activities |
This classification activity is usually accomplished in an office/warehouse like environment and as such requires the scope of physical movements and postures normally associated with office/warehousing activities. May be required to lift objects whose weight normally will not exceed 50 pounds. |
Qualifications |
Education / Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education if degree is required. | - Hazardous Materials Certification #
- Forklift Operators License # *
- GSE License #
- Airfield Operators License
- Physical as required by NAVAIR 3710.1 Series
- State issued Driver License
- DOT Hazardous Material Transportation Training
- Airfield Operators License
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Formal Schooling Required # Limited (Task Specific) | | Experience: - Must have three (3) years of documented hands on specialized experience in Department of Defense Inventory Control Procedures (Naval Supply experience preferred).
- Must have three (3) years of documented hands on specialized experience in Department of Defense Supply/Warehousing Procedures (Naval Supply experience preferred)
- Must meet any other qualification standards imposed by the government contract not covered by this agreement.
