Job Summary

Job Title: Registered Manager
Location: Burnley
Salary: per annum 7500 welcome bonus
Working Hour: 37.5 hours per week
Service: Childrens Home
Service Users: YPs EBD
Qualifications Required: NVQ/QCF Level 3 Diploma for the Children & Young Peoples Workforce; QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management in Residential Childrens Services (or willingness to undertake)
Experience in Years Required: Extensive experience in childrens residential care management
Employment Type: Permanent (Full Time)

Who we are looking for

You will lead a motivated team to deliver high-quality nurturing care for young people ensuring compliance with Childrens Homes Regulations. You will:

  • Manage a safe supportive and warm home environment

  • Safeguard young people and work collaboratively with professionals

  • Lead continuous improvement and ensure the homes statement of purpose is achieved

  • Manage budgets resources and the home environment

  • Inspire and support staff to achieve the best outcomes for young people

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in childrens residential care management

  • Strong understanding of relevant legislation and safeguarding procedures

  • Excellent leadership communication and organisational skills

  • Commitment to providing a nurturing and empowering environment

  • Full UK driving licence

Note: This is a Registered Manager role so the earlier Residential Support Worker-specific restrictions do not apply.
