Learning Support Assistant Primary SEND - Kensington & Chelsea September 2025 Start

Learning Support Assistant (SEND) Whats in it for you
Full-time term-time position starting September 2025
95105 per day (PAYE) depending on experience
Work closely with children in Reception to Year 6 with diverse needs
Gain invaluable classroom and pastoral experience ideal for aspiring teachers educational psychologists or SEN specialists

Learning Support Assistant (SEND) Role and Responsibilities
Provide 1:1 and small group support to children with additional needs
Adapt learning materials and activities to meet pupils individual targets
Support children in developing confidence social skills and resilience
Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored support strategies
Help create a calm inclusive classroom environment that nurtures independence
Contribute to childrens wellbeing by encouraging positive behaviour and emotional regulation
Learning Support Assistant (SEND) Person Specification
Previous experience supporting children (school nursery tutoring or youth work) is highly desirable
A patient empathetic and adaptable individual with a genuine passion for supporting young learners
Interest in SEN child development or pursuing a long-term career in education or psychology
Degree holders welcome but not essential personality resilience and enthusiasm are key
This is a fantastic opportunity for a caring and motivated individual to gain first-hand experience working with Primary-aged children with SEND in a supportive school environment in Kensington & Chelsea.
