Position Details
A busy professional couple in Lower Manhattan is seeking a reliable animal-loving Full-Time Pet Sitter / Personal Assistant. This is a weekday position with consistent hours ideal for someone who enjoys spending the day caring for pets while also assisting with light personal tasks and errands.
The household already employs a housekeeper so this role is not cleaning-focused. The primary responsibility is caring for the familys pets and providing general day-to-day support.
Schedule: MondayFriday 9:00 AM5:00/6:00 PM
Compensation: $65000$70000 annually

Primary Responsibilities
Provide full-day care and companionship for two dogs and one cat
Daily dog walking and outdoor time
Feeding basic pet care and maintaining routines
Staying home during the day to ensure pets are comfortable and supervised
Monitoring pets well-being and communicating any concerns
Personal Assistant Duties
Run errands during the day as requested
Assist with light personal tasks and day-to-day support
Help keep the household running smoothly while pets are the top priority
Perform additional assistant duties as they arise
Ideal Candidate
Genuine animal lover with experience caring for dogs and cats
Reliable responsible and punctual
Comfortable spending most of the day at home with pets
Organized and capable of handling errands independently
Easygoing trustworthy and respectful of privacy
Looking for a stable long-term position
Requirements
Prior pet care or dog walking experience preferred
Ability to walk dogs comfortably and safely
Must be dependable and attentive throughout the workday
Comfortable working independently
Local to Lower Manhattan or nearby
Compensation & Benefits
$65000$70000 per year depending on experience
