Locum Rheumatologist in Jackson MI

Join our dedicated team in Jackson Michigan! We are seeking a Board-Certified Rheumatologist with fellowship training to provide exceptional care for adult and geriatric patients. Our facility supports a collaborative healthcare environment with a strong emphasis on patient-centered care utilizing modern resources to ensure the best possible health outcomes.

The clinic operates on either a 410 or 58 shift schedule and you will have the opportunity to perform important procedures such as joint aspirations and corticosteroid injections. Supported by a skilled team including Medical Assistants and RNs you can focus on what matters most: your patients.

Job Responsibilities:

Provide adult and geriatric rheumatology care in an office clinic setting.
Perform joint aspirations and corticosteroid injections.
Manage a patient load of 1618 patients daily in the clinic and 1 hospital case.
Participate in a 24-hour hospital call schedule (1:2 ratio) for two weeks per month.
Utilize the Epic EMR system for patient records and documentation.

Qualifications:

Board Certified in Rheumatology.
Fellowship-trained in Rheumatology.
Ability to perform clinic and hospital-based rheumatology procedures.
Familiarity with Epic EMR system is preferred.

License and Certification Requirements:

Current Michigan medical license REQUIRED
BLS certification REQUIRED
Self-Query NPDB (pulled within 30 days) REQUIRED
