Job Opportunity: Locum Physician - Rheumatology

At this facility you will care for adult and geriatric patients performing procedures such as joint aspirations and corticosteroid injections supported by a team of professionals including Medical Assistants and RNs. Job Responsibilities:
- Position: Locum Rheumatologist
- Practice Setting: Office Clinic with Hospital-Based Call
- Schedule: 410-hour shifts or 58-hour shifts
- Call Requirements: 24-hour hospital call two weeks per month (1:2 call ratio)
- Patient Load: Office/Clinic: 1618 patients per day; Hospital-based: 1 case per day
- Procedures: Joint aspirations and corticosteroid injections
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Rheumatology REQUIRED
- Fellowship-trained in Rheumatology REQUIRED
- Michigan medical license REQUIRED
- BLS certification REQUIRED
- Ability to perform clinic and hospital-based rheumatology procedures REQUIRED
- Familiarity with Epic EMR system PREFERRED
- Self-Query NPDB documentation within 30 days REQUIRED
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certification in Rheumatology
- Current Michigan Medical License
- BLS Certification
