We are looking for an inspiring leader to lead HKTW Operations and connect local execution with regional and global supply chain strategies!

Core responsibilities

Leadership and management

  • Develop & execute the future strategy for HKTW Operations in line with Global transformation & overall HKTW business plan

  • Lead and champion the teams motivation satisfaction and culture in line with company values clarity of roles & responsibilities & inter-department collaboration.

  • Encourage and develop key talents and secure a strong succession pipeline at all levels of the Operations team

  • Set the commercial and organizational direction for LEGO HKTW as part of the HKTW LT focusing on the Operations team while partnering Sales Marketing and Finance.

  • Represent HKTW within APAC China Operations networks securing strong alignment between regional planning and local execution

  • Drive strong cross-functional collaboration by mentoring the team on other departments work overall business strategy industry trends customer needs etc.

  • Lead day-to-day business running and achieving agreed critical metrics by monitoring planning inventory and sales reports

  • Control and allocate resources as appropriate and ensure effective training & development within the team in line with companys digitalization journey.

Functional Responsibility - Demand & Customer Planning

  • Lead the BU Demand Planning team and business processes to help capture accurate demand signals for the market.

  • Own local S&OP process which is a critical link between Sales Marketing and Global Supply Chain; ensuring global & regional demand directions are adhered to

  • Promote collaborative and effective customer forecasting to drive clarity of forecasting responsibilities between Demand Planning & Sales and ensure close customer planning alignment with Sales.

  • Oversee the Supply Allocation & Customer Flow of Goods planning to optimize both Consumer Sales and customer inventory metrics

  • Manage safety stock and inventories life cycle in local DCs including exit and excess

  • Oversee supply and inventory flow & allocation to optimise stock availability minimize exposure and in general secure inventory health

  • Overall accountable for BU HKTW forecasting KPIs.

Functional Responsibility Customer Service

  • Lead Customer Service team and work within each customers ordering and distribution framework processing and delivering orders efficient manner and within expected timeframes

  • Secure a line of sight between go-to-market strategy customer and marketing plans to the customers order execution

  • Develop and implement Order Management systems and processes to secure workload efficiencies

  • Overall accountable for BU HKTW service metrics

Functional Responsibility Distribution & Customer Logistics

  • Build partnerships with local customers and suppliers by focusing on mutual value creation in distribution effectiveness & efficiency.

  • Provide outstanding customer service while maximising revenue and reducing supply chain costs by linking regional supply chain developments to customer needs

Play your part in our team succeeding

  • Reports to the General Manager HKTW

  • Leads a team of 8 across Hong Kong and Taiwan

  • Part of the HKTW Leadership Team

  • Part of the APAC China Operation Network

  • Close collaboration with the Singapore regional Hub (Supply & Inventory Planning Demand Planning Distribution Customer Logistics teams)

  • Close collaboration with key customers across the markets

Do you have what it takes

  • Strong and proven leadership experience within FMCG retail fashion with a heavy focus on monthly launches seasonal and promotional activities

  • 10 years proven experience in supply chain planning or logistics roles

  • Strong communicator and collaborator on simplifying & contextualizing complex topics & situations

  • Strong and proven leadership track record of leading and motivating a team of professionals and delivering on departmental & company goals

  • SAP and Advanced Excel needed

  • Strong ability to lead and manage even under volatile and uncertain situations

  • Strategic mindset with focus on swift implementation

  • Critical and analytical thinking to identify opportunities and risks

  • Ability to travel overseas for internal and external business meetings

  • Business Fluent in English. Fluent Mandarin & Cantonese are a big strength.
