Salary Range (based on experience) as set by the Board of Trustees for the school year
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Perform office responsibilities for Assistant Director of Special Education
- Programming Elementary & Dyslexia Special Education Coordinators.
- Receive incoming calls make proper referrals and take messages.
- Maintain daily and weekly schedules for Assistant Director of Special
- Education Programming Elementary & Dyslexia Special Education Coordinators.
- Perform routine word processing on computers including correspondence memorandums flyers/handouts; design and type forms and specialty flipcharts used for programming; responsible for maintaining disks data bases and keeping ongoing files.
- Create and maintain an up-to-date budget for Elementary & Dyslexia Special Education Coordinators Adapted PE and Special Olympics. This includes maintaining Excel spreadsheet with purchase orders recorded and monitoring through eFinance that purchase orders have been received and Spring work with Coordinators to submit new budgets for next school year.
- Process purchase orders for Elementary & Dyslexia Special Education Coordinators Adapted PE and Special Olympics which includes preparing materials requests obtaining quotes and getting approvals before inputting into eFinance.
- Work with HSSETS to log and add Edgenuity courses for students needing Grade Repair
- Coordinate FMNV orders for all elementary campuses four times year. This includes working with HEB to get items in stock help with delivery in mailroom sort and box items and create PUDS to distribute to campuses.
- Process payroll for Special Olympics.
- Update Dyslexia PEIMS student information in eSchools.
- Coordinate APE Referrals.
- Build courses and assign course credit in Cy Fair Professional Growth System
for Coodinators. - Liaison for ESS Staff Shirt Orders. Collaborate with vendor to create web store communicate with ESS staff and distribute orders for Special Education department twice a year.
- Organize monthly meetings for HSSETS.
- Process media requests for programming department.
- Perform copying for special education coordinators. routine filing and maintain up-to-date files and databases for the programming department
- Perform other duties assigned by the Director of Special Education.
- Regular and reliable attendance is an essential job function.

Tools/Equipment Used: Standard office equipment including personal
computer and peripherals.
Posture: Prolonged sitting; occasional bending/stooping pushing/pulling and

Environment: Frequent in district-wide travel
