Job Summary

Vitality Living is an operator of senior living communities across the southern United States. Our communities support seniors in active adult independent living assisted living and memory care environments.

Vitality Living is actively seeking an experienced accounting professional to join the Support Office team. As a Vitality Senior Accountant you will support an assigned group of senior living communities with a wide variety of business-critical an essential member of our Support Office accounting team you will serve as the subject matter expert on all things numbers. When questions arise you will be there to troubleshoot support and lead community personnel.

This is a flexible hybrid role with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Creating general ledger journal entries.
  • Preparing the balance sheet income statement A/R and A/P reports bank
    reconciliations and reviewing for accuracy and reasonableness.
  • Analyzing understanding and reporting any large variations identified in the financial
    package to management.
  • Collaborating with community and payroll staff on payroll variance reports.
  • Assisting with community audits.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in accounting with 3-6 years of accounting experience in a growth environment.
  • An organized approach to work and a keen focus on accuracy with the ability to work independently.
  • Effectively communicate status and progress and deliver results consistently.
  • Experience with Yardi or Avid Exchange in a senior living or real estate environment is a plus.
