Job Title: DevOps Engineer (Azure Hybrid Cloud Networking Terraform BGP Palo Alto PAN-OS)

Location: Albany NY - (Hybrid)

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification

Manage and lead orchestration of multi-discipline technologies to resolve complex infrastructure and networking issues while collaborating with technology and business leaders to recommend system improvements and enhancements.
Provide 24x7x365 on-call network support for advanced troubleshooting escalation management and incident/ticket resolution on a rotating schedule.
Design deploy and maintain cloud networking infrastructure across GCP AWS and Microsoft Azure to support new and existing enterprise application deployments.
Design implement and maintain hybrid cloud networking architectures and connectivity between on-premises environments and cloud platforms.
Design deploy and maintain network virtual appliances including Arista CloudEOS and Palo Alto PAN-OS integrated with cloud provider networking components such as GCP Network Connectivity Center and AWS Transit Gateway Connect.
Implement on-premises to cloud connectivity solutions in collaboration with network architects application teams and information security teams.
Ensure all networking solutions meet New York State information security standards and connectivity compliance requirements.
Collaborate with direct cloud connectivity providers to troubleshoot issues and develop solutions for networking challenges.
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for cloud networking deployments and configurations using Terraform and CI/CD practices.
Perform deep network performance analysis using monitoring and packet analysis tools such as Zenoss Splunk Palo Alto Panorama Arista CloudVision as a Service NfSen Ixia Gigastor and Wireshark.
Ensure high availability of cloud networking environments through change control management upgrades monitoring installations and advanced troubleshooting.
Oversee network monitoring processes to maintain maximum uptime and service availability.
Participate in network performance analysis infrastructure planning and capacity management initiatives.
Document network architectures designs and implementations using Microsoft Visio.
Provide knowledge transfer mentorship and technical training to junior engineering staff.
Support occasional travel requirements as needed for project or operational activities.
Expert knowledge of Google Cloud networking including VPCs subnets firewall rules routing Network Connectivity Center Cloud Router Cloud VPN Cloud Interconnect Cloud NAT load balancers private service connections logging alerting and troubleshooting.
Advanced expertise designing implementing and supporting hybrid connectivity architectures in Google Cloud environments.
Strong proficiency in Layer-3 networking concepts including BGP VRFs route maps route redistribution NAT and subnetting.
Advanced experience with Palo Alto PAN-OS including security policies NAT policies routing zones tunnels logging monitoring and upgrades.
Working knowledge of cloud application platforms and networking requirements including Kubernetes services container networking and serverless architectures.
Strong experience implementing Infrastructure as Code and automated cloud configuration management using Terraform.
Proficiency with Microsoft Azure networking including VNets subnets NSGs route tables virtual network gateways site-to-site VPN ExpressRoute Direct load balancers monitoring logging and troubleshooting.
Proficiency with AWS networking including VPCs subnets route tables security groups NACLs Transit Gateway Virtual Private Gateway Cloud WAN site-to-site VPN Direct Connect load balancers VPC peering logging alerting and troubleshooting.
Experience with enterprise monitoring and packet capture tools including Zenoss Splunk Palo Alto Panorama Arista CloudVision NfSen Ixia Gigastor and Wireshark.
Strong documentation and architecture diagramming skills using Microsoft Visio.
Experience with enterprise DNS architecture including split-brain public/private DNS resolution models.
