Litigation Attorney

About the Role:

A well-established and growing law firm in the Newport Beach area is seeking a General Litigation Attorney with four to eight years of experience to join its expanding litigation practice group. This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide variety of complex and interesting matters while taking ownership of cases from inception through resolution.

The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys variety in their practice is comfortable managing a litigation file end-to-end and is eager to continue developing strong courtroom and advocacy skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage litigation matters from start to finish
Draft pleadings motions and written discovery
Conduct and defend depositions
Participate in trials hearings and mediations
Assist with or handle appellate matters when needed
Collaborate with partners and colleagues on strategy and case development

Practice Areas:

The general litigation practice group handles a broad range of matters including but not limited to:

Insurance Coverage and Bad Faith
Business and Commercial Disputes
Real Estate Litigation
Intellectual Property (Trademarks Copyrights and Trade Secret Misappropriation)
Personal Injury and Wrongful Death
Proposition 65
Consumer Actions (CLRA UCL)
Construction Litigation
Hospitality Industry Disputes
Professional Negligence
Other complex civil litigation matters

Experience in these areas is preferred but candidates who are motivated and willing to learn new practice areas are strongly encouraged to apply.

Compensation & Benefits:

Competitive salary range: $140000 $190000 depending on experience and qualifications
