Position: Commercial Litigation Attorney

Position Overview:

As a Commercial Litigation Attorney you will be responsible for handling a variety of complex commercial litigation matters for our clients. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on high-profile cases and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial litigation excellent research and writing skills and a desire to work towards partnership within the firm.

Key Responsibilities:

- Represent clients in all stages of commercial litigation including pleadings discovery motion practice and trial

- Conduct legal research and draft legal memoranda pleadings and other court documents

- Communicate with clients opposing counsel and the court

- Participate in case strategy and development

- Manage a caseload and meet deadlines

- Mentor and supervise junior associates and support staff

- Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to provide exceptional service to clients

Qualifications:

- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school

- Active license to practice law in the state of Texas

- 5 years of experience in commercial litigation

- Strong knowledge of federal and state civil procedure

- Excellent research writing and communication skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Desire to work towards partnership within the firm

- Experience with business development and client relations is a plus
