Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Casualty & Mass Tort Litigation Associate to join our team in Houston Texas. This is a full-time permanent position with a partnership track. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in casualty and mass tort litigation and will be responsible for managing a caseload of complex and high-stakes litigation matters.

Responsibilities:

- Manage a caseload of complex and high-stakes casualty and mass tort litigation matters

- Conduct legal research and analysis draft pleadings motions and other legal documents

- Attend court proceedings and depositions

- Communicate with clients opposing counsel and other parties involved in the litigation process

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients

- Assist with trial preparation and participate in trials as needed

- Stay current on industry trends and developments in casualty and mass tort law

- Work closely with partners and senior attorneys on complex cases

- Mentor and supervise junior associates and legal staff

Qualifications:

- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

- Active membership in the Texas State Bar

- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in casualty and mass tort litigation

- Strong analytical and research skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to manage a large caseload and work under pressure

- Proven track record of success in handling complex litigation matters

- Experience with trial preparation and participation

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Desire to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment

- Previous experience in a top-tier law firm is preferred
