Job Description:

The Energy & Environmental Litigation Partnership Track Associate will be responsible for handling a variety of complex energy and environmental litigation matters for our clients prestigious clients. This is a partnership track position offering the opportunity for long-term growth and advancement within the firm.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct legal research and analysis on a variety of energy and environmental issues

- Draft pleadings motions and other legal documents

- Participate in all phases of discovery including document review and production

- Assist with trial preparation including drafting witness outlines and preparing exhibits

- Attend depositions hearings and trials as needed

- Communicate with clients and provide regular updates on case progress

- Collaborate with partners and senior associates on case strategy and development

- Mentor and supervise junior associates and support staff as needed

Qualifications:

- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

- Admission to the Louisiana State Bar

- 3-5 years of experience in energy and environmental litigation

- Strong research writing and analytical skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

- Experience with complex litigation software and databases is a plus
