As anSMB Account Executive within Commvaults Velocity team youll play a key role in building new business and expanding our footprint across the SMB market. This is a true hunter role where youll focus on identifying engaging and winning new customers while positioning Commvaults SaaS solutions as essential to their data protection and cyber resilience strategies.
Youll operate in a high-growth high-energy environment at the intersection of technology sales and customer needs. Working closely with partners and internal teams youll drive the full sales cycle - from prospecting and discovery through demos proposals and close - using a consultative approach to uncover challenges and deliver real business value.
To succeed in this role youll be a motivated results-driven sales professional who thrives on creating opportunities and closing deals. Youll bring resilience curiosity and a competitive mindset along with a passion for SaaS and helping SMB customers adopt modern cloud-first solutions. How you will make an impact
- Identify sales opportunities by researching and prospecting (coldcall outreach working with channel partners) within the assigned territory.
- Have a deep understanding of the territory and the top accounts within the assigned patch.
- Set up and deliver sales presentations product/service demonstrations.
- Manage end to end sales cycle from deal identification to closure.
- Maintain forecast accuracy
- Where necessary support marketing and channel efforts tradeshows partner events etc.
What you will bring
To be successful in the role you should have:
- 2 years experience in a new business sales role within the SaaS industry
- Track record of success and highlights in sales achievements.
- Growth mindset passion and enthusiasm for learning and developing your career.
- Understanding and exposure to the RFP process.
- High level of energy and ability to work autonomously.
- Effective problem-solving skills to detect changes in circumstances or events.
- Strong organizational detail-oriented and time management skills
