Job Summary

Responsibilities:


  1. Customer Follow-Up: Proactively engage with customers through phone calls emails and SMS to ensure timely payment of outstanding and overdue balances while maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach.

  2. Issue Resolution: Partner with internal teams to identify and resolve customer disputes or discrepancies related to invoices ensuring swift and accurate resolutions.

  3. Relationship Management: Foster and maintain strong positive relationships with customers to support smooth collections and encourage ongoing compliance with payment terms.

  4. Customer Education: Communicate payment methods terms and policies to customers ensuring they understand and adhere to the companys guidelines.

  5. Reporting: Deliver regular comprehensive updates on collection performance payment trends and challenges providing actionable insights to the management team.



Requirements

Skills & Abilities:

  1. Degree or Diploma in Finance Accounting Business Administration or a related field.

  2. Prior experience in debt collection customer service or a similar role is an advantage.

  3. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to handle customer interactions professionally.

  4. Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively handle multiple tasks and priorities.

  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word) and Google Workspace tools (Google Sheets Google Docs) with a strong aptitude for working with numbers.

  6. Familiarity with accounting software and tools particularly Zoho is a valuable asset.
