Our client is seeking a Deskside Support Technician who will be providing desktop solutions support to resolve end user technical issues in a timely fashion in order to maintain customer satisfaction. Install troubleshoot & maintain a wide variety of equipment & applications. Work as part of a cross-functional IT Infrastructure team. Customers are onsite & remote end users.
Accountabilities:
- Daily on-suite support for site corporate network computer devices/printers/phones
- Support of onsite events- software computers audio video
- Windows imaging including SCCM imaging of tablets
- Desktop support experience hardware and software - personal and remote
- Cisco/Logitech/Microsoft Team Rooms conference room setup/maintenance
- Assist in basic config of Cisco Catalyst switches including racking and cabling
- Network patch cable installation in IDFs including proper routing of cabling and dressing of cables
- Provide responsive support for end users with deskside & walk up support issues for PCs network printers video conference equipment & other local IT hardware & software packages.
- Use remote management to assist end users who are working offsite.
- Inventory control of patch cables video cables peripherals & other IT items.
- Assist in ordering & receiving equipment as required.
- Comply with internal & external regulations & procedures.
- Follow all safety & environmental requirements in the performance of duties.
- Other accountabilities as assigned
- Must be responsible professional and punctual.
- Ability to troubleshoot software and hardware issues either by working directly on the equipment/remote or walking the employee through the process.
- Responsible for managing and tracking of site computer equipment assets.
- Additional IT/Desktop support as needed.
- Preferred but not a must have :
- Service now
- VCON/Microsoft Teams Rooms
- Apple support (preferably via AirWatch) iPhones/iPads
- Verizon portal (phone setup and configuration)

WORK HOURS - 10-hour days per week Monday through Thursday.
