The Centre provides accommodation to clients of the Hospital. The Centre is designed to reflect the Red Cross wellbeing model with its sense of openness welcome and homeliness mirroring health and opportunityFor this role you will need the Ability to communicate with a diverse cross section of the community including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and those from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds have demonstrated time management and organisational skills to coordinate administrative functions and be proficient in utilising MS Office particularly MS Excel or similar packages. Your ability to use initiative and work with minimum supervision as well as take direction and work as part of a team be reliable and flexible to work on a range of tasks will also be an Cross will ensure you have training ongoing support and access to other opportunities within the worlds largest humanitarian impactAs a volunteer you will help those travelling for medical treatment feel at home and ease their recovery by listening empathising and providing them with a friendly voice. You will have the opportunity to learn from many peoples diverse history and knowledge as well as feeling the satisfaction of giving back to others.
