The role currently delivers Army Reserve administration for ARes personnel across 5x Units. During late 2026/2027 the role is expected to become responsible for a all personnel in a single Hybrid Unit. Main responsibilities will include: 1. Lead for all personnel administration outputs regular and reserve of the Unit SPS Detachment to ensure Unit G1 readiness and operational effectiveness. 2. Lead the career management welfare and mentoring of all Unit AGC(SPS) and civilian HR personnel. 3. Lead for all relevant personnel management checks and internal assurance processes in compliance with Defence and sS policy. 4. Unit Checking Officer for Unit public funds JPA iExpense Auditor (as reqd) and Internal Auditor for Service Charitable Funds. 5. Conduct the duties of unit Data Protection Advisor and IMgr. 6. Lead on Unit information data governance and assurance and improvements in Unit KIM maturity on behalf of SIO. 7. Contribute to and support Regular and Reserve outputs as directed by the CO. 8. Promote and maintain SPS ethos within the Detachment in accordance with the V&S of the British Army. |
