Job Summary
Lead for all personnel administration outputs of the Unit SPS GSPS Detachment to ensure Unit G1
readiness and operational effectiveness.
Lead the career management welfare and mentoring of all Unit AGC(SPS) GSPS and civilian HR
personnel.
Mentor and develop the Det Comd to best prepare them for their future appointment as RAO.
Lead for all relevant personnel management checks and internal assurance processes in compliance
with Defence and sS policy.
Unit Checking Officer for Unit public funds JPA iExpense Auditor (as reqd) and Internal Auditor for
Service Charitable Funds.
Conduct the duties of unit Data Protection Advisor.
Lead on Unit information data governance and assurance and improvements in Unit KIM maturity on
behalf of SIO.
Lead the promotion and maintenance of SPS ethos within the Detachment in accordance with the VandS
of the British Army.
