Job Summary
NOW HIRING: Custodian Fitness Center (part-time)
JOB SUMMARY: The Custodian is a responsible organized and reliable person who manages the complete daily cleaning of the Fitness Center including locker rooms bathrooms hallways and classrooms. This candidate will also help maintain the Fitness Center pool.
LOCATION: Tinley Fitness 8125 W. 171st St Tinley Park
QUALIFICATIONS: The qualified individual should be able to communicate clearly and effectively with a minimum of a high school diploma and preferably six months experience in a cleaning environment. Additionally this candidate must understand operate and maintain cleaning equipment to create a clean and sanitary environment at the Fitness Center. Current CPR certification or ability to gain CPR certification is required within six (6) months of hire.
INCENTIVES: This part time position covers the evening shift on Sundays from 4pm - 9pm and Thursdays from 9pm - 1:30pm with the availability to fill in weekday nights as needed. Additional shifts vary between 4 and 6 hours and fall within a timeframe from 4:00pm until midnight depending on the specific day. Scheduling may range from 10-19 hours/week. Pay rate begins at $15.25 per hour DOQ and qualifies for a complementary membership to the Fitness Center Recreation Center Water Park and Dog Park.

The Park District maintains over 40 parks 33 ball fields and several facilities which include the Tony Bettenhausen Recreation Center Tinley Fitness White Water Canyon Water Park Canine Campus Dog Park Tinley Junction Miniature Golf & Batting Cages Vogt Visual Arts Center and the Tinley Park Performing Arts Center.
