The Virtual Sales Representative is a key role within our Individual Life and Health Insurance division focused on driving growth in the Vancouver Asian partnership with the Director Insurance Sales you will be responsible for business development and account management of life insurancefocused advisors serving this unique demographic. Your role will include providing case consultation sales strategies product expertise and marketing support to help advisors succeed and to increase sales for Equitables life and health insurance solutions within your assigned market. This position requires cultural awareness strong relationship-building skills and the ability to deliver exceptional virtual support to advisors and Title:Virtual Sales RepresentativeReports To:Virtual Sales Vice PresidentIndividual SalesDepartment:Individual SalesTerm: Permanent Full-Time Location: Vancouver Work Arrangements: You will work from your home office 100% of the time. Sales related roles may be required to travel based on the assignment. You may be required to be in-person at our office in Waterloo ON or another assigned location within the Waterloo Region on an as needed basis. What you will be doing:Partner with the external Director Insurance Sales;Develop and maintain strong relationships with insurance focused advisors through proactive activities within Vancouver Asian markets;Meet or exceed sales targets and grow the number of productive advisor relationships for the Individual Insurance Product Line (Universal Life Whole Life Term and CI)within Vancouver Asian markets; andBuild relationships with producers through 1 on 1 discussions seminars and case you will bring:Post-secondary education and/or applicable professional designation (i.e. CFP CLU CHFC TEP);Minimum 5 years of financial industry experience with experience in marketing to firms and advisors in a life insurance environment;Excellent negotiation skills;Proficiency using various office-based software including PowerPoint Outlook Word and Excel;Superior time management and organizational skills;Highly developed interpersonal analytical and presentation (written and oral) skills; andmust have the ability to travel to various locations for meeting and/ or events as in it for you:A workplace where care passion and curiosity arent just values theyre how we work grow and succeed together every day;A high-performance and rewarding culture and experience;Includes variable pay opportunities;Annual vacation allowance and company-paid benefits program;Car allowance and work travel expense program;Immediate enrollment into the companys pension program with employer matching;Discounts on company products and service and access to exclusive employee perks; andRegular EQ Together events focused on company togetherness and part of the recruitment process candidates may be asked to complete an assessment and will be required to undergo background screening in accordance with company Equitable were committed to fair pay and an inclusive accessible hiring experience.
