Job Summary

As an Inside Sales Representative for YouScience you will serve as the engine for our growth focusing specifically on Net New Logo business within the Mid-market to SMB K12 education sector. While this is a junior sales role compared to our Territory Managers it is a high-impact position where you will play a pivotal role in driving the adoption of our innovative solution.

This position requires a proactive hunter mentality. You will be responsible for the full sales cyclefrom prospecting to closeidentifying and recruiting new prospects conducting impactful virtual product demonstrations and navigating opportunities through the sales funnel to achieve sales targets.

This role will be performed on-site is at our Headquarters in American Fork UT.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Execution & Strategy

  • Full Cycle Sales: Manage the entire sales process from initial prospect to close focusing exclusively on acquiring Net New Logo business in the Mid-market and SMB sectors.

  • Aggressive Prospecting: Identify new potential clients and conduct high-volume outreach via phone calls emails and social selling to build a robust pipeline.

  • Meet Quotas: consistently meet and exceed sales targets and quotas to increase revenue through aggressive acquisition strategies.

  • Virtual Demonstrations: Present the YouScience story sales pitch and product demonstrations to prospective clients via virtual meeting platforms.

  • Objection Handling: Overcome objections resolve concerns and guide prospects to a buying decision.

Territory & Pipeline Management

  • Market Intelligence: Identify and understand key local initiatives and legislative mandates that influence the business climate within your assigned SMB/Mid-market territories.

  • Pipeline Hygiene: Document all interactions and manage pipeline stages in our CRM system according to established processes.

  • Follow-Up: Manage rigorous follow-up with key leads and accounts to ensure no opportunity falls through the cracks.

  • Collaboration: Beyond individual sales efforts collaborate closely with the Sr. Territory Managers within their region and with cross-functional teams (Marketing CS) to align on messaging and support.

Performance & Growth

  • KPI Tracking: Assess your own sales performance according to established KPIs and adjust activity levels to ensure success.

  • Continuous Improvement: Maintain a growth mentality think outside the box and seek constant skill improvement and knowledge while working collaboratively with peers.

  • Team Alignment: Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay sharp on product updates and sales techniques.


Qualifications :

  • Experience: 13 years of sales experience (SaaS or EdTech preferred but not required). This is a junior role ideal for those hungry to advance their sales career.

  • Skills: Exceptional time management organizational skills and responsiveness to prospect needs.

  • Mindset: A true hunter mentality with a drive to close net new business.

  • Tech Savvy: Comfortable presenting via Zoom/Teams and maintaining accurate data in a CRM.

Location: Must be able to work full-time from our American Fork UT headquarters.
