What Were Looking For
We value a mix of formal training and hands-on experience. To be considered for this role you will ideally have:
A Certificate IV in Disability Services Community Services or Individual Support. Please note this training is advantageous but not a requirement.
Relevant experience in a care or support role. We particularly encourage applications from people with lived experience and those who identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander.
You will also have:
A current NSW Drivers Licence and willingness to drive.
A valid First Aid & CPR Certificate.
A paid Working with Children Check (WWCC).
A National Disability Insurance Scheme Workers Check (NDISWC).
Willingness to consent to being listed on the Residential Care Workers Register (RCWR).
Availability to work across a 24/7 roster.
A Day in the Life
As a Support Worker youll provide essential care and support helping children and young people with daily living skills attending appointments and social activities and completing daily case notes incident reports and administrative tasks.

Competitive Pay: A base rate of $34.58 to $37.73 per hour plus casual and shift loadings as per the SCHADS Award and 12% super.
