We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Senior Interior Designer - Healthcareto join a highly collaborative and dynamic Health team with opportunities for growth. The ideal individual will have 10-15 years of experience and is a self-starter with strong design skills. Professionals with experience in healthcare projects and a strong interest in healthcare are encouraged to apply.
As a Senior Interior Designer - Healthcare on the PerkinsWill team you will:
- Lead design efforts and project teams including design direction and client engagement for marquee healthcare projects
- Design and coordinate detailed design concepts assist with design and technical coordination among disciplines and respond to technical implications of design decisions
- Facilitate program development with project team
- Be responsible for project design budget cost control and schedule
- Prepare design presentations assuming lead in client and owner presentations
- Coordinate contractors consultants and vendor assignments including integration of basic engineering systems in overall project design
- Direct organize and mentor junior staff with responsibility for oversight
To join us you should have:
- A professional degree in Interior Design or related discipline
- 10 years of experience
- Proficiency in 3D modeling visualization and graphic software; Revit strongly preferred
- Strong design portfolio
- Strong competency in interior design specifications calculations and industry standards and application of building codes and specifications
- Ability to direct and coordinate work efforts of junior staff
- Experience in all phases and aspects of a project
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Problem solving skills attention to detail and motivation to learn
- Collaborative and professional work ethic
- LEED AP or within 6 months of hire
- NCIDQ licensure
