We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Help Desk Support Officer to join our team! This role will see you primarily leaning on your strong IT skills and knowledge of Councils assets and procedures to provide a high quality support service to our staff. You will be the go-to person for troubleshooting problem-solving and delivering timely solutions to ensure smooth day-to-day operations across Council. Strong customer service skills are essential in this role as you will be the first point of contact for staff to help them resolve technical issues in a timely manner. Additionally you will utilise your problem solving abilities to collaborate with the team to tackle challenges and find innovative solutions to IT problems.

$81605 - $94490 per annum plus 13% superannuation
To be considered for this position you must have a degree in Information Technology or other relevant equivalent qualifications. You will bring demonstrated experience in a similar role with a strong background in developing maintaining and supporting PC must also be able to provide high-quality help desk support effectively guide and train users and communicate technical information clearly to a range of stakeholders. A sound understanding of technology-related risk management and risk mitigation processes is essential along with the ability to apply these principles to ensure secure reliable and efficient systems.
