Student Worker Organic Chemistry Instrument TA

Purpose/Objective of the Role:
- Assist students in use of the NMR in organic chemistry lab
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Assist students in use of the NMR during and outside of lab hours.
- Receive laboratory safety training. See Dr. Grunkemeyer.
- Follow all safety guidelines; wear goggles and appropriate clothing.
- Make sure students have returned common equipment to the proper location.
- Make sure students have cleaned up their work area.
Qualifications:
- Applicants should have successfully completed one year of CHEM 260/261 before applying for this position.
Potential Future Career Benefit:
- Peer leadership experience insight into TA responsibilities in graduate school.
