Reporting to the Senior Director Brand Communications the incumbent is responsible for ideating creating and producing engaging content primarily video for Air Transats social media platforms.
They help translate the brands essence into creative impactful content that inspires the travel community and supports marketing objectives.
Responsibilities:
Produce film and edit dynamic and innovative video content (Reels TikTok YouTube Shorts) tailored to the codes of each platform (Facebook Instagram TikTok YouTube LinkedIn).
Ensure fast and agile production in order to capitalize on trends and news relevant to the brand.
Collaborate closely with the content and marketing teams to develop creative concepts aligned with the editorial calendar and brand priorities.
Adapt content so it can be used both organically and in support of promotional campaigns.
Occasionally travel to capture authentic content in our destinations and on board our aircraft.
Actively monitor best practices and emerging trends on social media.
Manage the full content production cyclefrom pre-production (ideation scripting) to post-production (editing text music)while ensuring compliance with brand standards internal policies and the operational context of the airline industry.
Collaborate with the strategist to analyze content performance identify the most engaging formats and optimize the creative strategy.
Work closely with the brand strategist to ensure that all produced content respects Air Transats visual identity and brand tone.
Qualifications :
Degree in communications marketing or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum of 23 years of relevant experience in marketing and/or communications digital content creation social media management or a similar role.
Excellent mastery of major social platforms and their specific codes.
Strong video shooting and editing skills using mobile and/or professional tools (e.g. CapCut Adobe Premiere Pro Final Cut Pro).
Bilingualism (French and English) spoken and written with excellent communication skills.*
High creativity initiative autonomy and strong teamwork abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Knowledge of the travel industry (an asset).
*A strong command of French is required for positions based in Québec. The incumbent will need to communicate frequently in English both verbally and in writing with colleagues clients and other stakeholders in Québec and internationally.
