Procurement Intern Summer 2026

Role Summary:

• This summer intern position will focus on procurement methodology processes and tools that support the Canada Procurement department to manage requirements from business stakeholders.
• The summer intern will refine data analytic skills learn end-to-end Source to Pay (S2P) processes & tools and contribute to the delivery of key procurement activities.
• The summer intern will be exposed to existing Procurement & Finance systems and will have the opportunity to support the Canada Procurement team in delivering value (i.e. cost savings) and simplification across current processes.

Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

• Work with Procurement and Finance to support Procurement simplification and sustainability initiatives
• Data gathering & analysis for key spend/suppliers in preparation for upcoming contract negotiations (including benchmarking/rate analysis)
• Develop cost savings tracking tool to support Procurement in identifying & calculating value

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate degree program (e.g. Finance Procurement Business Administration).
• Proficiency in specific technical skills (e.g. Microsoft Office PowerBI).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration abilities.
• Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Candidates must have an expected graduation date after August 2026.
• Available to work full-time for duration of the intern/co-op term

What to Expect:

This role is a 4-month paid contract position which starts in June 2026. Our position will be based in our Mississauga head office and allow for flexible working arrangements working both onsite (2-3 times per week) and virtually.

Annual basesalaryfor this position ranges from $41495.20 to $54462.45. AstraZeneca is committed to providing fair and equitable compensation opportunities to all colleagues. Our compensation policies and practices have been designed to allow colleagues to progress through thesalaryrange over time as they progress in their role. The range provided in this posting represents an offerpayrange used in a majority of situations. The basepayoffered will vary depending on multiple individualized factors including the candidates skills and experience job-related knowledge and other specific business and organizational some cases offers outside the range may also be considered to address unique circumstances.

In addition our permanent positions offer an annual VariablePayBonus/Short Term Incentive opportunity as well as eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (if applicable to role).
