Weyerhaeuser Kenora TimberStrand is seeking a proactive and experienced procurement and materials management professional with a passion for driving cost savings maintaining accurate inventory ensuring timely availability of parts reducing inventory carrying costs and improving KPIs and supplier performance within a multimilliondollar manufacturing facility. Reporting to the Mill Manager this role plays a critical part in supporting mill operations and partnering with teams across Weyerhaeuser including the Operations Procurement Lead Team mill maintenance and operations and other functional partners.
In this role you will be responsible for supporting mill uptime and reliability by managing all aspects of procurement for MRO parts bulk supplies equipment services and capital project materials and services while supporting Weyerhaeusers Operations Procurement strategy. Success in this position requires strong alignment with mill and Wood Products business goals the Operations Procurement roadmap company vision and operational excellence and reliability initiatives. You will build strong relationships and collaborate closely with the Procurement Lead Team mill leadership storeroom personnel maintenance planning and scheduling teams and other key stakeholders across the organization.

2 years of Buyer experience preferably in a heavy industry or manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications:
5 years experience in Procurement Operations
Compensation: This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program and we are targeting a salary range of $XX - $XXXX based on your level of skills qualifications and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program which offers a cash bonus targeting 7% of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target.
