Job Summary

Youth for Christ Winnipeg is looking for a passionate and organized individual to serve as the Spiritual Engagement Coordinator at Camp Cedarwood. The Spiritual Engagement Coordinator will reside at the Camp located at Pinawa Bay - Lac du Bonnet Manitoba. Camp Cedarwood is a ministry of YFC Winnipeg that provides youth with a camp experience that is rooted in the Gospel with a focus on excellence while allowing them to experience new and exciting opportunities through our programs and activities.

A successful candidate for this position will recognize first and foremost that they will play a significant and vital role in the success of Camp Cedarwood; what you will do here will have an important impact on the young people and guests who attend and enjoy Camp Cedarwoods beautiful facility and setting. If you are passionate about helping others and want to use your experience skills and knowledge to support the ministry of YFC in changing the lives of youth then this may be the position for you.

Responsibilities

Implement and oversee ministry activities at the camp.
Identify and create intentional opportunities to engage campers with the gospel message of Jesus.
Be available and approachable for spiritual conversations supporting campers as we work to further the mission.
Mentor youth and build meaningful relationships that foster discipleship prayer and intentional spiritual growth.

Requirements

Maintain a close intimate relationship with God as a devoted follower of Jesus Christ.
Be an active participant in the life of a local church.
Affirm and support our organizations Community Covenant and Statement of Faith and be committed to YFCs mission.
Able to live and work in a camp environment during part of the year while being flexible and patient in nature.
Embrace YFCs core values with a strong heart for evangelism.
Strong communication organizational and administrative skills.
Take initiative pay close attention to details and be willing to adapt.
Able to work well in a team as well as on your own.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality.
