Position: Project Manager
Industry: Residential Construction Townhomes Apartments
Our client is a leading company in the residential construction industry specializing in townhomes and apartments. They are seeking an experienced Project Manager who can oversee schedules budgets subcontractor performance and field operations to ensure projects are delivered safely on time and within scope. The Project Manager will serve as the primary point of coordination between ownership design partners the field team and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Lead overall project planning scheduling budgeting and subcontractor selection.
- Review plans and coordinate with design partners consultants and city inspectors.
- Manage RFIs submittals change orders procurement and long-lead items.
- Oversee project financials including monthly forecasts pay apps and cost tracking.
- Conduct regular site walks with the Superintendent to maintain quality safety and production targets.
- Coordinate inspections commissioning punch lists and turnover documentation.
- Serve as the main liaison between ownership field teams and external stakeholders.
- Ensure code compliance and successful project closeout.
- Utilize project management software (Procore Bluebeam MS Project).
Qualifications
- 2-3 years of project management experience with multi-family construction.
- Strong understanding of building systems sequencing and local codes.
- Proficiency with project management tools and software (listed above).
- Excellent communication problem-solving and leadership skills.
