Job Title: Project Manager - Project Lead

Client: State of South Carolina
Location: Blythwood SC

Work mode: Fully onsite

Candidate Location: Candidate MUST be a SC resident or willing to relocate to SC prior to starting the role at their own expense - Local and NON-Local candidates must complete onsite interview for the second round.

Daily Duties / Responsibilities:

Serves as IT project manager for assigned projects. For non-IT driven projects role will serve as project manager for IT assigned deliverables.
Manages assigned IT projects and coordinates with all stakeholders from inception to completion to achieve the desired outcome.
Works with project team to identify and document project scope/charter budget (where applicable) resources project schedules including milestones and risks and project deliverables.
Establishes meeting cadence for each project to ensure projects remain on budget and on schedule.
Maintains project team accountability through tracking budget milestones risk mitigation actions issues and task assignments. Escalates issues timely to applicable stakeholder(s).
Collaborates with others to establish project meeting agendas and produces project team meeting notes including providing project status updates and reports to stakeholders.
Closes out each project in a timely and orderly manner with documentation of lessons learned and finalizing of essential project documentation.
Maintains accurate master IT project list.
Produces required IT project related presentation and supplemental materials for meetings including steering committee and strategic planning meetings.
Work with IT Management and Project Management Office to develop document and codify the project planning implementation and management methodology for adoption.

REQUIRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE):

1. 5 YEARS OF PROJECT MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE.

2. 3 YEARS PROJECT MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE IN MANAGING ENTERPRISE LEVEL IT PROJECTS.

3. 3 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE WITH BUDGETING
