About the Project
ACCIONA is delivering critical transmission infrastructure to connect renewable energy projects to the national grid. Our National Transmission Team manages high-voltage transmission lines substations and grid connection works across multiple states. These projects are essential to strengthening Australias energy network and enabling the transition to clean energy.
About the Opportunity
We are seeking a Health and Safety Manager Transmission to join ACCIONA Mechanical and Electricals National Transmission Team. This national role will lead health and safety strategies across high-voltage transmission projects including overhead lines and substations. You will work closely with project managers engineers and contractors to embed a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with WHS legislation and standards.
Key Accountabilities
Lead health and safety planning for transmission projects
Flexibility to travel and work onsite is essential
Drive compliance with WHS legislation and ACCIONA standards
Conduct audits and risk assessments across project sites
Provide expert advice to project teams and stakeholders
Develop and implement safety improvement initiatives
Champion a proactive safety culture across all activities
Required Skills and Competencies
Tertiary qualification in WHS or related discipline
Proven experience in health and safety for major projects
Knowledge of transmission or high-voltage environments
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Ability to travel and work onsite nationally
