Job Summary
Job Description:
A Senior Manager Store Inventoryleads inventory strategy operations and team development to ensure optimal stock levels meet customer demand and minimize costs overseeing everything from forecasting and ordering to compliance and process improvement working with sales procurement and other managers to align inventory with business goals. Key responsibilities include setting replenishment strategies analyzing data for forecasting managing stock accuracy training staff and collaborating cross-functionally to boost sales and efficiency while controlling shrinkage.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy & Planning:Develop and implement inventory strategies (e.g.hold & flow) forecast demand and align with category and business objectives.
- Operations Management:Supervise daily replenishment manage store stock ensure efficient material flow and oversee compliance with safety/security policies.
- Data & Analysis:Use analytical tools to optimize inventory turnover reduce markdowns and identify risks/opportunities.
- Team Leadership:Recruit train coach and manage inventory staff conducting performance reviews and fostering continuous improvement.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:Work with Buyers Planners Sales and other managers to achieve financial targets and operational goals.
- Process Improvement:Identify and implement improvements in allocation and replenishment processes.
Essential Skills & Qualifications

- Proficiency with inventory management software and tools.
- Leadership communication and collaboration abilities.
- Experience in supply chain retail or related fields.
