Job Title: Email Copywriter Customer Adoption Nurtures
Were seeking an experienced email copywriter to support our Customer Excellence Marketing team. This is a dedicated copywriting role focused on creating compelling email content for post-purchase adoption nurtures. Youll write transactional email copy that guides existing customers through their adoption journey by connecting them with relevant content events and resources that help them maximize value from their purchased solutions.
Important Note: These are not marketing or sales emails. This is adoption-focused communication designed to help customers successfully implement and use what theyve already purchased.
Key Responsibilities
- Write clear compelling email copy for automated post-purchase nurture sequences designed by our journey team
- Develop customer-centric messaging that connects users with the right resources at the right time in their adoption journey
- Create email content that simplifies complex technical concepts and makes next steps easy to understand and act upon
- Collaborate with the journey team to ensure copy aligns with campaign strategy customer needs and journey objectives
- Adapt tone and content for different customer personas roles and stages of the adoption journey based on journey team requirements
- Revise and optimize email copy based on performance feedback and stakeholder input
Required Skills & Experience
- Professional email copywriting experience specifically in B2B post-purchase or customer adoption campaigns
- Proven track record writing transactional educational or enablement emails (not promotional/sales content)
- Strong portfolio demonstrating ability to write clear action-oriented copy that drives engagement
- Experience writing for automated nurture campaigns (familiarity with platforms like Marketo HubSpot or Eloqua is a plus)
- Ability to translate technical product features into customer benefits and clear next steps
- Understanding of customer journey stages and how to align messaging to different adoption phases
- Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with journey designers and cross-functional stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and ability to incorporate feedback efficiently
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in B2B SaaS enterprise software or technology industries
- Background supporting customer success onboarding or adoption marketing programs
- Familiarity with any enterprise platforms
- Understanding of email best practices for transactional communications
