About the Role

McNab is seeking a professional and capable Administrative Officer / Receptionist to join our South Brisbane office on a permanent part-time basis (Wednesday to Friday 8:00am5:00pm).

This role is for someone who genuinely enjoys supporting a front office well takes pride in presentation and organisation and brings positive energy to their work. Youll be the first point of contact for our office and play a key role in creating a welcoming well-run environment while still having fun along the way.

Youll be supported by an experienced Office Manager and work closely with a broader admin and EA team. The focus is on solid execution consistency and great customer service ensuring the office runs smoothly and efficiently every day.

What youll be doing:

Youll own the day-to-day front-of-house and office administration function including:

  • Being the first point of contact for a wide variety of visitors and callers creating a warm and professional welcome
  • Providing reception coverage handling calls and redirecting enquiries to the right teams
  • Coordinating meeting room bookings catering requests and shared office calendars
  • Collecting incoming and outgoing mail scanning and distributing correspondence
  • Supporting general administration tasks such as invoice coding stationery and office supply ordering
  • Maintaining a tidy professional and well-presented office environment including reception kitchens and meeting rooms
  • Working closely with the Office Manager and wider admin team to support smooth office operations and assist where needed

About You

Your passion for variety coupled with a desire to help others will see you succeed in this role. As the successful candidate you will:

  • Demonstrate a strong working knowledge of MS Office and Teams.
  • Have proven experience in office administration reception or a similar support role
  • Be naturally professional friendly and calm under pressure
  • Possess strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels of the business
  • Take pride in presentation organisation and follow-through
  • Hold a current Queensland Driver Licence (required for mail collection)
