The Opportunity

Identify and unlock retail potential at Dexus! Reporting to the General Manager Investment Strategy & Transactions the Transaction Manager - Retail will support the origination acquisition and divestment efforts of Dexus with a focus on retail assets. You will play a pivotal role which will see you drive investment management thinking project-manage transactions and influence best practice across the end-to-end transaction lifecycle. You will make an impact by:

Strategic Transactions

Drive origination acquisition and divestments for retail and assets ensuring seamless execution and alignment with portfolio strategy.
Develop and implement transaction strategies to optimise performance and identify growth opportunities.

Analysis & Market Insights

Conduct market research and transaction analysis to support investment decisions.
Prepare investment papers and supporting materials for key transactions.

Project & Stakeholder Management

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams investors consultants and industry partners.

Innovation & Team Contribution

Contribute to a high-performing team culture fostering collaboration and innovation.
Support the development of tools processes and systems to enhance transaction capabilities.

About You

You are a passionate about the retail sector and bring a collaborative and driven nature. With 8 years experience across end-to-end transactions and or relevant fields of property youre seeking an opportunity to shape investment thinking influence best practice and make a real impact in the retail sector. You will bring:

Minimum tertiary degree qualification in Property/Land Economics/Real Estate/Commerce/Business.
CA CFA Master of Applied Finance or MBA advantageous.
Extensive experience in property or private equity with significant expertise in retail transactions.
Working knowledge of valuation tools (e.g. Forbury ARGUS Estate Master).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Broad market networks and ability to identify value-generating opportunities.
Strategic agility and confidence to share independent views.
Exceptional interpersonal skills to build trust with stakeholders.
Strong written and verbal communication presentation and negotiation skills.
Proven ability to foster collaboration and contribute to a high-performing team culture.
Positive attitude adaptability and ability to work effectively with diverse personalities.
Highly organised with strong time management skills.
Self-driven proactive and able to work independently.
