Tech Lead (Platform) Founding Member of Technical Staff

Location: San Francisco CA (3 days/week in-office)

Compensation: $275000 Founding-Level Equity

They have grown from $0 to $10M ARR in under a year and are trusted by brands like Google Microsoft and Nestlé.

The Team

You will join a lean 30-person Special Forces team backed by Sequoia. Their roster includes serial entrepreneurs former co-founders and elite talent from Jane Street Stripe and Twitter including multiple IOI Metalists.

The Role

As a Founding Tech Lead (Platform) you will own the systems that power their core product experience:

• Platform Ownership: Drive the design of their chat and analysis engines plus recruitment and incentive systems.

• 0-to-1 Architecture: Own complex end-to-end systems across infra backend and product UX.

• Engineering Rigor: Set the standard for quality. You ensure our technical debt remains near zero.

• Mentorship: Raise the bar for a team of world-class engineers through architectural clarity and high-execution standards.

Requirements

• Experience: 912 years in full-stack engineering with a heavy Product or Platform tilt.

• Leadership: Previous experience as a Co-founder VP of Engineering or Engineering Manager is highly preferred.

• Stack: Mastery of TypeScript. Depending on your tilt deep proficiency in Python/Go (Backend) or React/JS (Frontend).

• Education: CS Degree from a Top 25 US undergraduate program.

• Location: Based in San Francisco.
