Job Summary
Position Overview
Corporate Hiring Solutions Inc. (CoHires) is seeking an experienced NG911 Subject Matter Expert (SME) / NYPD CAD Technical Project Manager to support the continued implementation and enhancement of the Next Generation 9-1-1 (NG911) emergency call system.
The selected consultant will provide technical leadership and project management oversight for Class 1 Class 3 and Call Handling upgrades ensuring seamless integration between the NG9-1-1 system and existing CAD (Computer Aided Dispatch) platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the integration of NG9-1-1 systems with existing NYPD configuration platforms.
- Manage CAD integration with NG Call Handling systems.
- Oversee testing configuration and implementation phases of the NG911 program.
- Ensure compliance with technical requirements and test management standards.
- Coordinate and liaise with internal and external agencies involved in Class 1 Class 3 and Call Handling components.
- Manage medium to large-scale public safety technology projects including planning scheduling and tracking.
- Support dispatcher training initiatives related to 911 systems.
- Monitor project timelines deliverables and reporting requirements.
- Assist agency leadership with change management documentation and project communications.
- Mentor team members on project management methodologies and technical processes.
Mandatory Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of experience managing Public Safety Technology Projects (medium to large scale).
- Minimum 8 years of experience supporting 911 dispatcher training.
- Proven Project Management experience including planning scheduling tracking and reporting.
- Demonstrated experience working in emergency services or public safety enterprise environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical expertise in large-scale enterprise emergency service environments.
- Experience supporting change requests documentation control and deliverable management.
- Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Ability to mentor and guide project teams.
