As a Locum MD in Radiology you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and interpreting medical images to support effective treatment plans. You will collaborate with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality imaging services making a significant impact on patient outcomes in our community.
Responsibilities
- Perform and interpret radiological examinations including X-rays CT scans and MRIs
- Provide accurate diagnoses based on imaging studies
- Collaborate with medical staff to determine appropriate imaging protocols
- Communicate findings effectively to referring physicians and healthcare teams
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards in imaging
- Participate in departmental meetings and case discussions
- Stay current with advancements in radiology techniques and technology
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient interactions and findings
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from an accredited institution
- Valid medical license to practice in the state of Florida
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Radiology
- Strong proficiency in interpreting various imaging modalities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to patient-centered care
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
Shifts: 7p-7a
Schedule: Shifts available 7 days per week
Cases: ED reads and stat cases
Modalities: X-rays CTs and MRs
EMR: Epic
PACS: Change
Dictation: Dragon
Must be board-certified
