Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate organized and impact-driven Programmes Coordinator to support the planning implementation monitoring and reporting of community-based health and psychosocial programmes. The role will focus primarily on cancer awareness patient support initiatives advocacy and community engagement activities.
The ideal candidate will possess strong coordination and reporting skills a solid understanding of community health programmes and the ability to work compassionately with diverse populations.
Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and support the planning implementation and execution of programme activities and timelines.

Organize community outreach initiatives awareness campaigns support groups and training sessions.

Liaise with facilitators healthcare professionals partners donors and volunteers to ensure effective programme delivery.

Track programme data outputs outcomes and impact metrics.

Prepare programme reports activity updates and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
-
Support Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) activities including data collection analysis and reporting.

Assist with grant-related documentation donor reporting and compliance requirements.

Ensure programme activities align with organizational objectives timelines and quality standards.

Provide administrative and logistics support for programme meetings outreach activities and events.
Qualifications & Requirements

BSc or HND in Health Sciences Social Sciences Public Health Development Studies or a related field.

Minimum of 3 5 years experience in programme coordination NGO operations or community development.

Prior experience in health-focused advocacy-based or psychosocial support programmes is an advantage.

Strong organizational coordination documentation and reporting skills.

Ability to work empathetically and effectively with diverse communities and vulnerable populations.

Experience in Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) is an added advantage.

Excellent communication interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace tools.
