Guided by our unwavering commitment to our students and the community we strive to cultivate curious compassionate and capable learners who contribute positively to their community and the SummaryEasthampton Public Schools is seeking a highly organized detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support Special Education financial operations including transportation coordination tuition payments and preschool tuition billing as well as district-wide grants and curriculum initiatives. This position plays a critical role in ensuring accurate financial processing compliance with state and federal requirements and effective coordination across ideal candidate will demonstrate strong administrative and financial skills attention to detail sound judgment and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a collaborative educational ResponsibilitiesSpecial Education & Preschool Finance Tuition and TransportationProvide administrative support related to Special Education transportation including coordination with transportation providers and internal with tracking processing and reconciling Special Education tuition payments including out-of-district placements collaboratives and approved preschool tuition billing including invoicing tracking payments maintaining records and coordinating with families and the Business Office as with Special Educationrelated financial documentation invoices purchase orders and service accurate and confidential records related to transportation tuition and timelines and documentation to support compliance with DESE state and federal as a liaison among Special Education staff transportation providers the Business Office and other internal sensitive student and financial information with discretion and AdministrationProvide administrative support for district grant timelines reporting deadlines and required with invoice tracking reimbursements and with district finance staff to support grant compliance and & Instruction SupportProvide administrative support to curriculum and instructional with professional development logistics including scheduling registrations and curriculum documents instructional resources and meeting cross-departmental initiatives aligned with district Administrative ResponsibilitiesManage correspondence prepare documents and maintain organized digital and physical filing communications reports agendas and meeting materials as audits reviews and compliance-related across departments while maintaining confidentiality and other related duties as QualificationsHigh school diploma or in an administrative finance support billing or office coordination organizational communication and time-management level of discretion when handling confidential student and financial with Microsoft Qualifications:Associates or Bachelors working in a school district or public-sector with tuition billing invoicing or financial with Special Education funding preschool tuition processes and transportation of DESE requirements and grant :SY25-26:$23.60-$26.13 per hour based on prior experiencehttps:// Join Easthampton-Competitive salary and benefits-Supportive collegial culture with strong mentorship for new administrators-Opportunities for professional learning aligned to district priorities and educator growth-A close-knit school community where every educator has a voice and makes a differenceEqual Opportunity EmployerEasthampton Public Schools is committed to maintaining a work and learning environment free from discrimination in employment on the basis of race color religion national origin sex gender identity sexual orientation sex characteristics sex stereotypes and other sex-based conduct genetic information ancestry age disability military service or marital status.
