About the Role
Our client is seeking an Operations Assistant Manager to support and improve warehouse and logistics operations. The role includes leading and mentoring warehouse associates managing daily workflows maintaining accuracy and productivity standards and overseeing safety and compliance efforts.
Requirements
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise warehouse operations including receiving picking packing and shipping to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment.
- Foster a team environment through clear communication coaching and direct engagement with warehouse staff during shifts.
- Set monitor and enforce department performance metrics focused on productivity accuracy and operational reliability.
- Ensure compliance with company policies safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Generate and analyze operational reports to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Oversee workforce planning coordinate training programs and manage performance and employee development.
- Use Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other technologies to streamline processes and optimize resources.
- Lead safety training conduct regular inspections and promote safety best practices.
- Develop review and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for consistent operations.
- Conduct regular inventory audits address discrepancies and implement damage control measures.
- Collaborate with staffing agencies to align labor resources with operational demands.
- Perform additional duties that support business and departmental objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in warehouse or logistics operations with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
- Proficient in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel PowerPoint Word).
- Strong leadership presence with communication problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Bilingual in English and Korean (preferred).
- Hands-on experience in multi-shift team-oriented environments (preferred).
