This contract position is an on-site role that offers an invaluable opportunity to provide high-quality medical care in a fast-paced critical care environment.

As a Locum NP/PA in Critical Care you will play a crucial role in delivering patient-centered care assisting in the management of critically ill patients and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes. Your expertise will contribute significantly to our mission of providing exceptional medical services in the healthcare sector.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of critically ill patients
  • Implement treatment plans and monitor patient progress
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals
  • Administer medications and perform medical procedures as needed
  • Educate patients and families about health management and treatment options
  • Document patient care accurately in electronic health records
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and families

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Nursing or related field
  • Current NP or PA certification and state licensure
  • Experience in critical care or emergency medicine preferred
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in electronic health record systems
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care

Schedule: 6:30p-6:30a 7 on/7 off

No call shifts required

Patient Volume: 28 per shift

Required Procedures: Arterial lines intubations central lines vent management

ECMO and GME experience preferred

Support Staff: APPs MD on call

Must be board-certified

Paid travel & expenses
