In 2019 Ward Home joined the Auberle family and has three programs in our Young Adult Services Department.

Program Description:

SNAP (Stop Now And Plan) is an evidence-based internationally accredited program designed to engage children and their caregivers through therapeutic groups teaching emotion regulation and coping strategies. The program is offered for families with children ages 6-11 exhibiting externalizing behaviors.

Position Title and Overview:

SNAP Childcare Coordinator (part-time)

  • Facilitate small groups of various aged children by leading in play overseeing arts & crafts assisting with homework and using a strengths-based approach to address behavior.

  • Provide and coordinate transportation of children and families to and from groups field trips and other interventions.

  • Develop positive relationships with children and families that reflect the core values of Auberle and the SNAP program.

  • Provide a positive role model to children and families.



Qualifications

Position Requirements:

  • Act 33/34 and FBI Clearances required.

  • Valid PA drivers license vehicle registration and proof of insurance.

  • Flexibility to work evenings.
